De voormalige slangentoren staat midden op het terrein van de oude brandweerkazerne waar, als gevolg van een nieuwe ontwikkeling, ruimte wordt geboden aan de huisvesting van de \"creatieve\" industrie. De locatie krijgt een campusachtige karakteristiek waarbinnen de slangentoren als markant herkenningspunt een centrale rol speelt. De renovatie van de toren en de nieuwbouw van het paviljoen is afgestemd op de behoefte van het bureau aan zowel een algemene werkruimte waar de medewerkers hun werk verrichten als aan specifieke ruimtes voor het ontvangen van gasten, het geven van presentaties, het houden van vergaderingen en het werken in afzondering. De ruimtes worden strikt van elkaar gescheiden door een transparant tussenlid waar tevens de toegang tot het kantoor is. Onder het met hout beklede en opgetilde paviljoen kan worden geparkeerd en beantwoordt daardoor aan de parkachtige en open omgeving. Vanaf de eerste verdieping is een mooi uitzicht over het nog te ontwikkelen terrein met monumentale bomen. Niets in de ruimtes herinnert aan het stereotypische kantoorgebouw. Hoge vaste plafonds, koofverlichting en zorgvuldig uitgedetailleerd kantoormeubilair geven het kantoor een mate van sereniteit en rust. Een terughoudende detaillering draagt bij aan de zuivere verschijning van het object. De ruimtes in de toren hebben een vergelijkbaar afwerkingniveau. Hier speelt echter ook het oude casco van de toren met zijn ingemetselde staalconstructie een belangrijke rol in de belevingswaarde van de ruimtes. De ruimtes worden ontsloten door een stalen trap welke in vijf steken uiteindelijk uitkomt in de bovenste ruimte, de vergaderruimte met een panoramisch uitzicht over Breda. Deze archetypische ruimte volgt letterlijk de contour van de nieuwe opbouw en is derhalve op zijn hoogste punt ongeveer 9 meter hoog.

The former hose tower of the old fire station is located at the middle of the site where, as a result of new development, space is provided to the housing of the "creative" industries. The site receives a campus-like character with the hose tower as a centrepiece and striking landmark. The renovation of the tower and the construction of the pavilion is tailored to the needs of the agency to both a general workspace where employees perform their work in specific areas for receiving guests, giving presentations, holding meetings and working in isolation. The spaces are strictly separated by a transparent zone which also has access to the office. Underneath the timber-clad pavilion can be parked and thus corresponds to the park and open environment. From the first floor is a beautiful view over the developing area with his monumental trees. Nothing in the room recalls the stereotypical office. High fixed ceilings, cove lighting and carefully detailed office furniture give the office a degree of serenity and tranquility. A restrained detailing adds to the pure appearance of the object. The rooms in the tower have a similar quality of finish. Here also plays the old shell of the tower with its walled steel construction an important role in the amenities of the room. The rooms are accessed by a steel staircase that eventually leads to the upper floor, a meeting room with a panoramic view of Breda. This archetypal space literally follows the contour of the new building and is therefore at its highest point approximately 9 meter high.
