2008-2009 Interieur Synchroon, Utrecht
Het interieur voor Synchroon, ontstaan uit de samenvoeging van de Hopman Interheem Groep en Johan Matser Projectontwikkeling BV, is gesitueerd in een nieuw kantoorgebouw van Meyer en van Schooten Architecten op kantorenpark Papendorp in Utrecht. Het ontwerp voor het interieur streeft een invulling na die loskomt van het bestaande gebouw en die beantwoordt aan de bedrijfscultuur van Synchroon. De basis voor het ontwerp vormt een brede middenzone waarlangs de kantoren aan de gevel worden ontsloten. De middenzone vormt samen met de kantoorscheidende kasten en lamelwanden een structuur die het programma reguleert. Door deze structuur volledig in eikenhout te materialiseren, ontstaat een eenduidige invulling die loskomt van het bestaande gebouw.
Synchroon is the product of a merger between Hopman Interheem Group and Johan Matser Projectontwikkeling BV. The premises are located in a new block, purpose-built by Meyer & van Schooten Architecten in Utrecht's Papendorp Office Park. It was a deliberate choice to start from the office block as a fixed quantity. While highlighting the qualities of the existing building, the interior design also departs from it, in response to Synchroon's corporate culture. The design is based on a broad central area, which links the offices to the façade and makes space for secretarial workstations and informal consultation areas. This central area combines with partitioning cabinets and slat wall panelling to lend structure to the programme. The all-oak structure will provide a definite filling, which can readily be interpreted as part of the existing building.
