PLAN DOMINO.
Plan Domino is a standard housing block with a high generic quality without losing its urban and architectural character. A closed building block that by its limited height and unambiguous clear shape can be implemented on each location possible. A sustainable structure of columns in a grid ensure a flexible plan. An extremely compact stairwell leads to the completion of any possible program.
By lifting the ground floor about 1.5 meters relative to the ground level, there is an appropriate relationship between the apartments and the urban environment. This solution leads to the possibility of commercial spaces on street level. The parking garage is semi-sunken and located in the courtyard. The O-shape generates the possibility of creating substantial green interior space.
The facades are made of glass and systematically follow the grid. The outdoor areas of the apartments are in the form of winter gardens with pivoting glass panels.

A spacious and green inner courtyard.
The architecture is a direct expression of the program. Clear and simple but with a diverse and varied character.
All building elements are repetitive and can be prefabricated.
For this design we propose natural stone, glass and coated aluminium. That's easy to build and stays nice without maintenance.
The entrances and small staircases bring down the scale of housing.
The cars simply park in the middle of the inner courtyard, surrounded by green and trees.
